The Netwalk on Wednesday at Attenborough nature reserved went well weatherwise and networking wise.
The first autumn storm had blown up a few days before and created some damp conditions. The storm eased off Wednesday morning to give a fresh, clear start. Sensible footwear and well mainted paths gave walkers good traction to enjoy a figure of 8 route around the large ponds and along the River Trent. Despite flooding of one section a short diversion added interest through the village of Attenborough.
A pleasant mix of regulars and new faces for this networking event for the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce. Members enjoyed the walk and making networking contacts and I've appreciated their positive feedback and useful comments on how the concept can be developed further.
